This Bystander Intervention Certification Training is a psychological learning and skills-based training that teaches participants how to recognize transgressions that occur in the entertainment industry (e.g., bullying, harassment, prejudice, discrimination, aggression, and violence) and the applied skills required to respond and intervene as a bystander. Our specialized Bystander Intervention Certification Training focuses on the unique workplace settings and needs of:

Producers, UPM’s, Crew Members, Actors, Film & TV Production Staff

Investing in bystander intervention certification training for cast and crew members is a proactive measure that can have far-reaching benefits for production studios, including creating a safer, more inclusive, and more productive workplace environment.

Promotes a Safe and Inclusive Work Environment

Our Bystander Intervention: Becoming an Upstander certification training equips cast and crew with the skills to recognize and intervene in situations of harassment, discrimination, or other forms of misconduct on set. This fosters a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity, making the workplace more conducive for everyone.

Reduces Instances of Misconduct

By empowering cast and crew members to intervene effectively, our Bystander Intervention: Becoming an Upstander training can help prevent incidents of misconduct before they escalate. This proactive approach can lead to a decrease in harassment, bullying, discrimination, and other harmful behaviors, creating a healthier work environment.

Protects the Reputation of the Studio

Instances of misconduct on set can damage the reputation of a production studio, leading to negative publicity, legal repercussions, and loss of audience trust. By investing in our Bystander Intervention: Becoming an Upstander training, companies demonstrate their commitment to creating a safe and respectful workplace, which can help protect their brand image and credibility.

Increases Employee Engagement and Satisfaction

Providing training opportunities like bystander intervention certification demonstrates that the company values the well-being and safety of its employees. This can lead to increased morale, job satisfaction, and loyalty among cast and crew members, ultimately improving retention rates and productivity.

Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards

In many jurisdictions, there are legal requirements and industry standards related to workplace safety, harassment prevention, and employee training. By ensuring that cast and crew members are certified in bystander intervention, production studios can demonstrate compliance with these regulations and uphold ethical standards in their operations.

Empowers Individuals to Take Action

Our Bystander Intervention: Becoming an Upstander certification training empowers individuals to become active participants in creating a positive work environment. By giving them the tools and confidence to speak up and intervene when necessary, workplaces enable everyone involved to play a proactive role in preventing misconduct and promoting respect and professionalism on set.
